Ambition to share the fascinating learning’s that such an unusual history has taught me. How the difficult times have given a wide understanding of the bigger picture of the purpose of life, the effects on our physical bodies to do with thoughts, coping skills to deal with unexpected setbacks. There are always solutions.  

 Highlights

  • Seeing my mother for the 1st time in a year after being left in boarding school at age 5
  • Observing a huge billboard at the top of the escalators at  Marble Arch station of myself advertising the sexy “Victorian Selection” for Berlei
  • Wedding day with Graham hill as Best Man, the funniest man I ever knew!
  • The birth of my son Jason
  • Watching husband Jackie Oliver coming over the finishing line at Le Mans in 1969 and winning in the Porsche.
  • The excitement of husband Bruce Welch nearly winning the Eurovision Song contest in 1975 and being pipped to the post by Abba with the song, Waterloo.
  • Meeting my soul mate Stuart in 1991 which changed the direction of my life.
  • Discovering inspirational teachings from Viniyoga 

Downtimes

  • Feeling abandoned and homesick in Boarding school
  • Surviving the horrors of a tapeworm caught in South Africa at the South African Grand Prix.
  • Feeling crushed by the effects of an earlier partner with manic depression
  • The death of parents, only sister and close friends
  • Surviving life threatening illness
  • Divorces
