What does Yoga mean to you?

Correct use of postures to suit the individual combined with integrated breath awareness approached with no judgement or ego!

If you always approach your practice with this intent you will start to experience a clear state of non agitated mental awareness,and an acceptance and deeper understanding of yourself so that you may experience the truth of an given situation. A willingness to observe what is happening in the present moment will start to unravel the interconnection between the mind, thoughts and learned habits that so affect our physical bodies and well being in our lives. We shall certainly be covering the bullet points listed below.

  • Skeletal imbalances that cause muscular conditions resulting in herniated or bulging discs and lower back pain.
  • Tight shoulders and upper back tension may not be what you think………but what you are thinking! Which one applies to you? Could you be caught up in a constant loop of related patterns involving both?
  • Tracking the feet, important for stability through the knees, hips and lower back.
  • Core stability, vital for lower back support.
  • Adrenal Stress and how it affects the hormones, thyroid and metabolic function. did you know that adrenal stress over a period of time may cause lower back pain?

How breathing techniques  can be the key to controlling asthma, helping emphysema, lowering heart rate, blood pressure.
